Anemia (Iron-Deficiency)
21 July 2025Key Symptoms: Sneezing, itching, hives
Symptom Group(s): Immune & Inflammatory, Skin & Dermatological, Respiratory
Overview:
Allergies are caused by an exaggerated immune response to typically harmless substances such as pollen, dust mites, foods, or insect stings. This hypersensitivity leads to the release of histamine and other chemicals, causing symptoms like sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy eyes, skin rashes (hives), and swelling. In severe cases, allergic reactions can trigger life-threatening anaphylaxis, requiring emergency treatment. Environmental factors, genetics, and immune system imbalances often contribute to allergy development.
